Music, performed by trio “The Schwings” will carry listener to the 1930s. The band plays Swing, Gypsy and Hot Jazz styles. Improvisation, tinctured with warm, acoustic, rhythm-based tones, is the cornerstone of these genres. Trio’s repertoire includes original compositions, also interpretations of Django Reinhardt, Duke Ellington, Sydney Bechet and other well-known jazz musicians music of the era. Instrumentalists of the trio are excellent jazz musicians of the new generation, actively performing in Lithuania, as well as abroad.
