Darbu veidojuši RSU Multimediju komunikācijas studenti kursa “Ideju vēsture” ietvaros. Darba mērķis bija izveidot materiālu, kurā būtu vispārīgi pastāstīts par džezu un tā vēsturi.
Lielu ieguldījumu darbā devuši arī Indriķis Veitners, Deniss Paškevičš un Dāvis Bindemanis.
